Dr. Amy Tomlinson earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from Lincoln Memorial University – College of Veterinary Medicine in 2023. Her journey with Manheim Pike Veterinary Hospital began in 2017 as a veterinary assistant, and in 2024, she returned as a veterinarian, bringing her story with MPVH full circle.

With a deep love for both dogs and cats, Dr. Tomlinson is known for her sharp attention to detail, clear communication, and genuine compassion for her patients. Whether conducting routine wellness exams or working through complex medical cases, she creates a calm and supportive experience for both pets and their families.

And her hidden talent? Flushing toilets with her mind. For real!

When she’s not in the clinic, you’ll likely find her relaxing on her deck with a Monster energy drink, snuggling her “crazy cats,” or enjoying her go-to snack: Garden Salsa Sunchips. Her most memorable adventure? A white water rafting trip in North Carolina that left her splashing in frigid water after being tossed from the raft. If she could hop on a plane today, she’d head straight to Africa for a safari.

Though she’s never tried karaoke, she’s always up for something new—and is a firm believer that chocolate chip cookie dough reigns supreme in the world of ice cream.

Now back in Pennsylvania, Dr. Tomlinson is focused on spending more meaningful time with family and continuing to provide thoughtful, compassionate care as part of the MPVH team.
