Dr. Jeffrey Steed earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1994, following his undergraduate studies at OSU. He went on to complete an internship in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery, further sharpening his clinical and surgical skills. In 1998, he joined Manheim Pike Veterinary Hospital, where he has provided decades of trusted care to pets and their families.

With a particular fondness for cats, Dr. Steed brings a calm, practical approach to each case. His patients benefit from his depth of experience, strong surgical abilities, and steady, compassionate demeanor. He is especially valued for the practical insight and mentorship he offers to both clients and colleagues.

Outside the clinic, Dr. Steed’s superpower is swimming, and his pantry is never without peanuts or trail mix. On Sunday mornings, you’ll usually find him at church, and when he’s not working, he’s happiest spending time with family and friends, especially over a good board game.

His most memorable vacation? Exploring the stunning biodiversity of the Galápagos Islands. If he could hop on a plane today, he’d be off to visit his daughter, Sophia. A lover of classic tunes, his karaoke favorites are “Cheeseburger in Paradise” and “Margaritaville”. His top pick for ice cream? Mint chocolate chip, hands down.

This year, Dr. Steed’s personal goal is to focus on more consistent prayer - a reflection of the thoughtful, grounded approach he brings to both life and work. He’s proud to continue serving the MPVH community with integrity, experience, and heartfelt care.
