Dr. Julia Bossert earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from Auburn University, College of Veterinary Medicine in 2021, fulfilling a lifelong dream to care for animals with both skill and heart. Her story with Manheim Pike Veterinary Hospital began even earlier - in 2017 - and she proudly returned to MPVH as a veterinarian following her graduation.
A devoted dog lover through and through, Dr. Bossert is known for her empathy and compassion, which guide every aspect of her care. Whether she’s treating a new puppy or helping an aging companion through chronic illness, she strives to make every patient feel safe, understood, and loved.
Outside of work, Dr. Bossert’s superpower - compassion - extends to all parts of her life. You’ll often find her reading or listening to audiobooks on Sunday mornings, or indulging in her favorite snack: white cheddar popcorn. Her most memorable travel experience was taking her daughter on her first trip to Germany, a place she’d happily revisit in a heartbeat.
Her go-to karaoke song? “25 to Life” by Eminem. Her favorite ice cream? Cookies and cream, no questions asked. And when she has true downtime, she’s happiest enjoying a good cat nap.
This year, Dr. Bossert is focused on managing stress more effectively, staying centered so she can continue to bring her very best to her patients, her team, and her family. She’s proud to be part of the MPVH family, delivering kind, thoughtful, and expert veterinary care every day.
